Dingalan is a 3-4 hour drive north of Manila. My best friend, Gid decided to do some fun shoot.
We left Manila on Friday at 11:30PM. After 3 hours of traveling, we stopped by Gabaldon, Nueva Ecija. It's the last town before arriving Dingalan. Here we are with our first stop.

Traversing another 45 minutes or so and after passing by Dingalan town proper, we arrived the Matawe Tidelands. This is where we plan to take the sunrise. Waves was a bit wild and it was quite scary attempting to shoot the landscapes. However, when the sun popped out, everything was gone!

After being awake for the whole morning, it was time for a hearty breakfast. Along the highway going back to the town proper, you may buy your seafood and have Aling Arlyn cook it. It's the best place to eat as Dingalan has no Jollibees or McDonalds in their town.

Lamon! |
Looking for a place to sleep was quite hard as there are only several inns in the area. We chose the Fil-Dane Inn and they are one of the most beautiful inn the area. We talked with the owner and requested if we can check-in earlier since we were so tired and he was so nice to accomodate it. Clean rooms and clean toilet, that is important to us. :)

Knockout! |
After being knocked out for 4 hours, we went to the feeder port at 3PM to check the famous "Batanes of the East." There are 2 options to get there, either by a boat or hike. We chose to hike to enjoy the scenery, it was a 45 minute walk. At the end of the walk, there are cottages where you can sleep and eat. We climbed up the scene and after 30 minutes of sweating and climbing, this was truly an amazing view!

Trying to be young |
Since it almost rained before we finished our shoot, we had to ran down. Since the area was a bit messy and touristy, we decided to hike back home. The boats can only stay till 6pm or before sunset so we had to rush back for safety reasons as per our guide.
After walking for 18km today, we were so hungry. The only restaurant that we passed by was the House of Tapsi. Surprisingly, it was VERY good! and VERY cheap!
